This is an 1892 Chromolithograph of Moses and the Tables of Law from the Holy Bible published by Gately and Fitzgerald of Philadelphia.  The print refers to the text in Exodus 31:18:  "When the Lord finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the covenant law, the tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God."  It shows a portrait of Moses holding the tablets in his left hand and a staff in his right.  Moses looks straight at us, asking us to read and acknowledge the word of God.  Measuring 10.5" high by 8.5" wide, the chromolithograph has intricate details and vibrant colors, which were produced by Geo. S. Harris & Sons of Philadelphia (a well-known printing company of the time).  The paper is tan in color and medium in weight.  This 1892 Chromolithograph of Moses and the Tables of Law is in Very Good Condition with no tears or damage.  Ideal for framing.
