This is a 1907 French Fashion Photo Postcard from the Lobstein Opéra, showing from the back a young woman with painted brown uplifted hair wearing a diaphanous dress with a white shawl collar and painted blue and pink details, including flowers and swirls. She looks off to the side so that we see her face in profile. She is in a studio setting, leaning against a chair and standing before a painted backdrop of pink flowers and green foliage. "La Toilette au Théâtre" and "Lobstein Opéra" are printed in the border below her. The card is numbered "3493" in the lower left hand corner of the photograph. A green 5c uncancelled stamp is fixed to the bottom right hand corner. A signature and "10-8-08" are written in black ink on either side of her head. The back of the card is addressed to "Ma chère Madeline" and the text refers to attending a famous celebration ("cette fameuse fête") and looking forward to spend time with Madeline ("j'espère y passer d'agréable moments en votre compagnie ma chère Madeline"), as well as a reference to finding a mandolin ("Avez-vous fait de mandoline"). This 1907 French Fashion Photo Postcard from the Lobstein Opéra is in Very Good condition with no damage or wear.
