This item consists of two Vintage Steel and Rhinestone Buckles with intricate details. The oval buckle at left is probably a shoe buckle with its arched design. It measures 1.25" (32mm) wide by 0.9375" (24mm) high at the center and has four rows of clear rhinestones, each separated by a blackened embossed circle and dot design. There is a bar attachment on back. The round buckle at right, which could also be used as a button, measures 1.125" (28mm) in diameter and has a wonderful spiraling pattern of clear rhinestones (in two sizes and faceted steel studs (in four sizes). Between the rhinestones, there are striated curving lines and openwork areas. There is a hook at center on back. Makers and exact ages are unknown. These Vintage Steel and Rhinestone Buckles are in good and very good condition respectively. The round buckle has surface rust, particularly on three of the largest steel studs. Ideal for repurposing.
