This is a Vintage Royal Netherlands Army Commissariat Hat Badge with crossed wheat stalks inside a diamond-shaped openwork frame and twisted chains on the borders attached to circles at each corner. The piece measures 1.625" (41mm) high by 1.8125" (46mm) wide by 0.5" (13mm) deep (including perpendicular rings). There is a bar with rings soldered on the back, which, although original, appears to have been more recently re-attached to the piece. Exact age is unknown. This Vintage Royal Netherlands Army Commissariat Hat Badge is in Very Good condition.
