This is an unused Vintage Romantic French Photo Postcard with a Soldier. The pink tinted 5.35" by 3.375" photograph shows a young blonde woman in the arms of a young man in uniform. They stare into each others eyes, their faces close together. The woman holds a bouquet of roses to her chest, while she places her other hand on the soldier's chest. The text (with a line drawing of an airplane soaring in the clouds) reads "Toujours plus haut/ Avec le collier de mes bras,/ Jusqu'où ne monteras-tu pas?" which roughly translates as: "Always higher/With the collar of my arms,/ How can you not go up?" The card is numbered "0523" in the lower right hand corner but the manufacturer is unknown. The exact age of the postcard is also unknown. This Vintage Romantic French Photo Postcard with a Soldier is in Very Good condition with no damage or wear.
