This is a Vintage Medical Glass Slide Showing an X-ray of the Tibia and Fibula, possibly produced for use in a magic lantern. The slide measures 3.25" high by 4" wide with its edges bound with black tape. The back has two labels: a yellow label marked "W.U. School of Medicine Dept. of Illustration no. 51-4829" and a white label penciled with "Jeffries 4-12-50." It is believed that this slide was created by the Washington University School of Medicine. Its date of production is unknown. This Vintage Medical Glass Slide Showing an X-ray of the Tibia and Fibula is in very good condition with no signs of wear or damage. (Due to its fragility, this slide will be shipped in a box rather than in a padded envelope.)
