Vintage Large Wood Letterpress Number 5

This Vintage Large Wood Letterpress Number 5 measures 10.875" high by 2.5625" wide by 0.875" deep (with the number having a depth of 0.1875").  The design is characterized by a thick flag and loop, as well as a tilted axis on the stem.  The name of the font is unknown.  The printing block is made of a dense reddish brown wood with a distinct grain.  The back has a hook with a 1.5" opening.  Type of wood, maker and exact age are unknown.  This Vintage Large Wood Letterpress Number 5 is in Very Good Condition with minor surface wear from age and use.  Ideal for decoration or use in an art project.
