This is a Vintage French Cadoricin Bottle.  At one time, it may have held brilliantine, a hair-grooming product intended to soften and provide gloss to men's hair, beards and moustaches which was created by French perfumer Edouard Pinaud at the turn of the 20th century.  The bottle has a wonderful design with fluted sides which have been pinched in and belted at the waist.  There is a central oval on front which, with the belt, once held a paper product label.  The screw-on cap is made of black Bakelite.  The bottle measures 4" high by 2" wide by 1.5" deep and is marked on the bottom (in molded glass): "CADORICIN," "B  78," "MODEL    POSE," "3" and "MADE IN FRANCE."  Exact age is unknown.  This Vintage French Cadoricin Bottle is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.  There is still a shiny residue on the inside of the glass.
