Vintage 2 Inch Wood Letterpress Capital A

This is a Vintage 2 Inch Wood Letterpress  Capital A in a Circus font of the Mardi Gras style, which has a split curved serif at the top of the capital letter, points on either side of the center, and a split curved serif at the base of each leg.  The printing block measures 2" high by 0.9375" wide by 0.75" deep and is made of a deep brown wood, which has darkened with use over time.  Maker and exact age are unknown.  This Vintage 2 Inch Wood Letterpress Capital A is in Good Condition with some damage to the left hand side of the background behind the letter.  The letter itself is undamaged.  Ideal for display or use in art.
