This is a 19th century Tintype of a Man with Top Curls. This 3.5" by 2.5" three-quarter length studio portrait shows a seated man with several distinctive curls on the top of his head. He is wearing a striped cravat, a vest with watch chain, and a jacket with a velvet collar. One arm is positioned on a fringed studio arm rest. There is a plain backdrop. His cheeks have been hand tinted pink. The emulsion of this Tintype of a Man with Top Curls is in very good condition. However, there is a horizontal center crease in the tin.
