This is a 19th century Tintype of a Woman in a Tiered Skirt, ruffled blouse, and long jacket. She wears her hair on top of her head and her cheeks have been tinted pink. She is leaning one forearm on a three-dimensional balustrade as she stands in front of a painted backdrop with sailboats and a Neoclassical building. The photograph measures about 3.5" by 2.5" and is sepia-toned. The front of this Tintype of a Woman in a Tiered Skirt is in very good condition. The tin has been cut unevenly at the top and has a very slight bend near her left shoulder. The back is rusted.
