This is a 1976 First U.S. Edition of  The Paintings of Carl Larsson, edited by David Larkin and published by Peacock Press/Bantam Book (ISBN: 0330247875/ ISBN 13: 9780330247870).  Carl Larsson (1853-1919) was a Swedish painter in the Arts and Crafts Movement.  He is known for his oil paintings, watercolors and frescos.  During a long wet summer, which stopped him from painting outdoors, he began a series of illustrations.  With the encouragement of his wife, Karin (also an artist), to carry the theme, he covered every aspect of family life in and around the house.  This book includes a selection of his "Little Hyttnäs" paintings, based around the family home and its inhabitants.  This 9.25" high by 11.25" wide soft cover book inlcudes 46 full color illustrations, including one fold out page, and 4 biographical pages.  This copy of The Paintings of Carl Larsson is in Very Good condition with no damage or wear.
