This item consists of two Tennessee National Guard Shoulder Sleeve Insignias. The shoulder sleeve insignia is worn on the shoulders of a US Army uniform to identify the primary headquarters to which a shoulder is assigned. Each of these circular embroidered patches, measuring 2.375" in diameter, has a black hickory tree (a traditional symbol of Tennessee due to the presidency of Andrew "Old Hickory" Jackson) and three olive green stars (representing three sections of the state: east, middle and west) on a woven olive green background with a black border. These Tennessee National Guard Shoulder Sleeve Insignias are in very good condition and appear never to have been used.
