This is a St Theresa Embossed Metal Pocket Plaque with a Prayer to St Theresa inside a deep blue vinyl folding case. St Theresa of Lisieux (1873-1897), also known as "The Little Flower of
Jesus," is the Patron Saint of all missionaries and missions, patroness
of France and Doctor of the Church. Along with Saint Francis of Assisi,
she is one of the most popular saints. The gold-colored plaque, measuring 2.5" high by 1.25" wide, shows a classic image of Saint Theresa holding a large crucifix and roses. She is dressed in a habit with collar and cuffs and has a halo behind her head. She looks off to the right, unsmiling. "St. Theresa" is embossed in a rectangle below her. A prayer, asking to be like St Theresa in humility and simplicity of heart so as to obtain everlasting rewards, has been printed on a piece of 2.25" by 1.8125" thick white paper.
