This Southwestern Stamped Nickel Silver Concho with Feather and Diamond Design measures 2.25" wide by 1.75" high by 0.25" thick at the domed center. The Navajo design has a center horizontal diamond surrounded by four groups of three feathers and etched mountains. There are three concentric ovals: a rope-like design; a line of alternating flowers, dots and Xs; and outer scalloped border with etched lines. There is tiny center attachment hole, measuring about 0.06" in diameter. Maker and age are unknown. This sturdy concho was removed from a chair where it had been attached with a domed tack.
