Miniature Hand-Painted Ginger Jar with Lotus Flowers

This miniature hand-painted ginger jar with lotus flowers is made of thin porcelain.  The body of the jar is covered with reddish-pink lotus flowers and gray-green leaves which are floating on a turquoise blue pond and growing out of sandy ground at the base.  The lid has two lotus flowers and one gray-green plant sprig.  The top two-thirds of the miniature has a jet black background.  The jar with its traditional cup-shaped lid measures 1.625" high by 1.25" in diameter (at its widest point).  The maker, country of origin, and age are unknown, as the piece is unmarked.  This miniature hand-painted ginger jar with lotus flowers is in Like New condition.
