Large Vintage Porcelain Half Doll

This Large Vintage Porcelain Half Doll, measuring 5.5" high by 3.875" wide by 2.5" deep, is a young lady in 18th century dress and hair decoration, standing with tilted head and raised chest high open hands, as if caught in the middle of a gesture or a thought.  Her beautifully painted face has delicate details with pale blue eyes with blonde lashes and brows which look away from us; a small straight nose; and an unsmiling rosebud mouth.  She has wheat colored hair in a curly upswept style with a magenta, yellow and white feathered decoration.  Her pink, yellow and blue dress with a rusty red bow has a squared neckline surrounded by ruffles and elbow length sleeves with lace and pale blue bows.  The base has four 0.0625" holes for attachment probably to a pin cushion.  She is unmarked but looks very much like porcelain half dolls made in Germany in the 1920s.  This Large Vintage Porcelain Half Doll is in Very Good condition with no damage or wear.
