This is a June 1928 Issue of Fashion Service Woman's Institute Magazine, published by the Woman's Institute of Domestic Arts and Sciences, Inc. in Scranton, Pa. The magazine, measuring 12.25" high by 9375" wide, has 16 pages filled with black and white illustrations of women's and children's fashions; recipes (Ice-box desserts); sewing diagrams (appliqué stitches); and with a variety of advertisements for beauty and health products, sewing accessories and fabrics, and cooking utensils. The front cover shows a drawing of a young woman in a floral vacation dress, printed in black, white and a range of pinks. The back cover has an ad with photographs from Maison de Beaute for products that will create a marcel wave. This 1928 Issue of Fashion Service Woman's Institute Magazine is in Very Good condition with creasing particularly to the back cover. The pages have yellowed over time.
