    This item consists of six pages of  1918 Illustrations from Caesar's Commentaries. The plates (in a palette of turquoise, orange, pale yellow, black and white) show Roman "Officers, Standard-Bearers, and Musicians;" "Roman Soldiers, Infantry and Cavalry;" "Weapons, Standards & Roman Camp;" "Military Devices;" "Appliances for Siege and Defense;" and "Storming of a Besieged City." Each page measures about 7.25" high by 4.75" wide. These 1918 Illustrations from Caesar's Commentaries are in very good condition. Some pages have a slight water stain at the edge of the border.  Ideal for framing or use in collage.
