This is a 1919 Glass Negative of Pictographs in a Seneca Bark House, produced by the Visual Instruction Division of the New York State Education Department (which is printed on the sides).  This 4" wide by 3.25" wide negative shows pictographs of two men, a triangular animal head, a tree on a hill, a rounded house, a sun, a moon, and symbolic lines.  When the negative is held up to a light source, these images can be seen in detail and with more variations in tone.  The edges of the negative have been covered with black paper.  This 1919 Glass Negative of Pictographs in a Seneca Bark House is in very good condition.
