Ethiopian Carved Bone Surfboard Pendants

This item consists of four Ethiopian Carved Bone Surfboard Pendants with a pale brown random dot in circle design.    Being hand carved, the pendants vary in length and width: 3.5" (89mm) by 1" (26mm); 3.625" (92mm) by 1" (26mm); 3.625" (92mm) by 0.875" (22m), and 3.75" (95mm) by 0.875" (22mm).  Each has a hole about 0.125" (3.5mm) in diameter.    Their surfboard shape has been carved in cow bone, whose striated grain is clearly visible.  These pendants are worn as protection against the evil eye.  Maker and age are unknown.  These four Ethiopian Carved Bone Surfboard Pendants are in Very Good condition with no damage or wear.  The imperfections are natural to the variations in the bone.
