    This is a Douglas A Crawforth Woodturned Bowl in an unknown deep variegated reddish-brown dense wood with a concentric oval grain.  Crawforth is a New Mexico artistic woodturner, who has sold his work for 30 years in fine art galleries in New Mexico, California and Georgia.  He is also known for his miniature pots and his collaborative work with his wife, Tammie Crawforth.  Measuring 1.5" high by 4" wide in diameter with a 1.75" lipped opening and a 2" base, the bowl has a simple design which highlights the color and grain of the wood.  The piece is signed "D Crawforth" under the base.  Age is unknown.  This Douglas A Crawforth Woodturned Bowl is in Like New condition and was purchased from the original owner.
