The Circus Ephemera Grab Bag contains at least 20 pieces of vintage and antique black & white and/or color images related to the circus. (Some pieces may have more than one image.) The ephemera may include etchings, engravings, illustrations, and/or photographs, which show both human and animal performers, circus equipment, circus parades, circus life and/or circus advertising. Human performers may include acrobats, high wire walkers, bareback riders, sideshow people, and clowns. Animal performers may include lions and tigers, dogs, horses, snakes, monkeys, and elephants. The pieces are selected from a wide range of sources, including books on the circus; encyclopedias and dictionaries; children's books; and antique magazines, such as Harper's Weekly and St.Nicholas Magazine. Text may be in several different languages. Source and date of each piece are included. Each Circus Ephemera Grab Bag is unique. (Images shown here serve as examples only.)
