The Children Ephemera Grab Bag contains at least 20 pieces of vintage and antique black & white and color ephemera, including etchings, engravings, illustrations and/or photographs. (Some pieces may have more than one image.) The images show children of different ages (alone or with others) in a range of activities, such as playing, dancing, or sleeping, and in a variety of settings, such as school, home, or outdoors. The ephemera comes from numerous sources, including advertisements, calendars, postcards, children's books, primers, textbooks, and series such as The Child's World, Childcraft, Wonder World, My Book House, Chatterbox, St. Nicholas Magazine, and Harper's Young People.
