This Armand Marseille Mabel bisque doll head was manufactured in Germany in the early 1900's. The head measures 6" high and 5" across the shoulders. She has brown glass sleep eyes; painted thick dark brown eyebrows and thin black eyelashes; an open rosebud-shaped mouth with four front teeth; intact earlobes; pink skin with rosy cheeks; and a golden brown natural hair wig with bangs and two side buns. The wig appears to be original to the doll. She is marked "Germany. Mabel 1a." on the back of her shoulder plate. This Armand Marseille Mabel bisque doll head is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The glue on the cork stopper that keeps her eyes open has dried out, which can easily be fixed.
