Antique Wool Robe for Infant or Doll

This is an Antique Wool Robe for Infant or Doll in a fine cream-colored wool with silk edging (on front and sleeves) and six mother of pearl buttons with crocheted closures.  There are two 3" long sewn pleats on either side of the front "collar" and two 3" long sewn pleats at the neckline on back.  The robe measures 16.25" long with narrow 6.75" shoulders and 7" long sleeves.  All the stitching has been done by machine.  This Antique Wool Robe for Infant or Doll is in fair condition with several light water stains and one small wear spot on the front.  The wool and silk are now quite fragile and should not be cleaned.  Ideal piece for doll or an art project.
