This item consists of two identical Antique French Monograms of the Letter T in a script font, designed to be sewn on towels, sheets or pillowcases. Each letter, measuring 1.25" high by 1.25" wide, was made by wrapping an off-white cotton thread. The letter was then glued to a thin brown paper backing, which was marked "M 3 B," "Made in France," and the numbers of the patents in France, England, U.S. and Germany. The U.S. patent information includes the date July 18th 1906. Manufacturer is unknown. These two Antique French Monograms of the Letter T have never been used. One has some slight discoloration from the glue.
