This item consists of four American and German Game Boards. There is a classically designed Scrabble Board in German, printed by J.W.Spear & Sohne, Nurnberg. The board measures 13.5" high by 13.75" wide. It has a textured gold background with squares in pale blue, deep blue, pink and red. The back of the board is textured deep forest green. Age is unknown but appears new and unused. The second German game board is double-sided carboard with a horse racing circular game (an illustration of jockeys and horses at the center and riding hats and crossed crops in each corner), on one side, and a cruciform version of the classic game Mensch Argere Dich Nicht (Don't Get Upset), on the other. The brightly colored board measures 11.75"square and has a center fold. It was copyrighted by J.F.S.M. Age is unknown but appears new and gently used. The third board is a red and black checker/chess board with crowns printed on masonite. The board measures 13" high by 11" wide with rounded corners. Maker and age are unknown but appears to be vintage. The fourth board is double-sided cardboard with a checkered board of 256 brown and white squares and red and blue stepped corners (what appears to be a 19th century design), on one side, and a red, white, blue and green star-shaped Chinese checkerboard, on the other. Age is unknown but appears new and gently used. All of these American and German Game Boards are in good to very good condition. The masonite checkerboard has some minor wear to the paint. The two cardboard double-sided boards have some wear along the center folds, common to this style of folded game board. The Chinese checkerboard is slightly arched on the edges opposite the fold. All four game boards are ideal for art projects.
