This item consists of 48 African Porcupine Quill Beads, ranging in size from 1.5" (38mm) to 2" (51mm) in length and from 0.125" (3mm) to 0.25" (6mm) in diameter. These quills have the deep brown and ivory coloration and striated surface characteristic of the African quill. These beads were apparently strung as a necklace. The original 1.25" (32mm) ovoid wood bead and knotted black leather loop are included. These African Porcupine Quill Beads are in Very Good condition with no damage or wear.
