This is an unusual African American Man Riding a Velocipede Charm. Measuring 0.875" (22mm) high by 0.625" (16mm) wide by 0.25" (6mm) deep, the metal charm shows a lanky African American man pedaling an antique bicycle. His hat and clothing have been painted red, white and blue, including a large white star on the back of his coat, and his skin and hands have been painted chocolate brown. His molded facial features have a folk art look to them with large round eyes, triangular nose and tiny slightly U-ed mouth. The bicycle with its large and small wheels, straight handlebars and large light has been left in the natural metal, which looks like cast iron. Maker and age are unknown.
