This is a sepia-toned 19th Century Cabinet Card of a Young Woman with a fan, taken at the George H. Emery photographic studio in Rutland, Vt. The 6.5" x 4.25" photographic shows a young woman standing beside a decorative table with an open photographic album and a decorative pillow on the floor. The background has a swirl pattern and what looks like a mirror in the upper left hand corner, both of which are very faint. The dark haired young woman is staring intently at the photographer with a faint smile. She is dressed in an elaborate white dress with lace, ribbons and bows and she holds a partially opened paper fan in her white gloved hands. The photograph has been attached to a white board with an embossed thin border and the words "Emery" (in cursive), a monogram (in the center) and Rutland, Vt. at the bottom. The back of the photograph is blank and has an area of damage on top where there once was a label. This 19th Century Cabinet Card of a Young Woman with a Fan is in Very Good condition with no damage or wear to the photograph.
