This is the 1970 Version of the High-Bid Game, an auction game made by the 3M Company of St. Paul, Minnesota as part of their bookshelf game series. Game pieces come in a 6.75" by 5.375" by 1.125" brown leatherette-look large hardback book size box which was designed to be stored on a bookshelf. This complete game contains: 46 property cards with categories such as Prints, Sterling, Books, Tapestries, Jewelry and Coins and an illustration of a high end auction scene on the back; 8 black and white Buyer's Cards; play money in four denominations (blue 10s, yellow 20s, pink 100s an white 1000s); a set of dice; and an Official Rules brochure. This 1970 Version of the High-Bid Game is in Very Good condition with a crease in the corner of one card.
