Each of these seven 1960s Children's Valentines features an animal, human or object, surrounded by red hearts, with a verbal pun. The images include: a cat knitting a valentine; a monkey carrying a giant banana; a frog with a cane dancing on a lily pad; a hillbilly boy popping a cork off a jug of moonshine; a dog at a raised desk writing with an oversized pencil; a lion in the underbrush; and an Asian teapot sending out steam to a group of teacups. Each card has bright colors and is highlighted with silver glitter. The valentines measure about 5" high by about 2.5" wide with irregular borders and are designed to be folded in half to fit into a 3" by 4.5" glassine envelope. Envelopes are included. Maker is unknown, but all are marked "Made in U.S.A." These 1960s Children's Valentines are in Like New condition.
