1957 Simplicity Pattern 2196

This 1957 Simplicity Pattern 2196 is for a Woman's One Yard Skirt (what we now call a pencil skirt) in Size Waist 25 Hip 34.  There are three versions: (1) the right front laps over left, is top-stitched and forms a simulated fly-front.  Button-trimmed flaps detail front waistline on each side of center. (2) button-trimmed tabs at front waistband and soft pleats at front waistline.  Has back kick pleat. (3) darts at the front waistline.  Has back kick pleat.  All views are Simple-to-Make and have a zipper in the left side seam.  The pattern includes seven marked tissue pieces, instructions, and the original envelope.  The pattern is complete and uncut.  This 1957 Simplicity Pattern 2196 is in Very Good condition.  The envelope has small tears and is missing the flap.
