1952 Book Covers from a Russian Anniversary Edition of Gogol Stories

These are the 1952 Book Covers from a Russian Anniversary Edition of Gogol Stories.  Each cover measures 8" high by 5.125" wide and has a heavy board covered in a rich blue cloth.  The front cover has the Russian versions of Gogol's name in gold and the title in white.  There is a simple embossed border with a small four petal flower/star in gold in each corner.  The word "AETTII3" and the date "1952" are embossed inside a flourish below.  The inside end paper has a simple laurel wreath printed in blue.  The back cover is embossed in the upper left hand corner with a four Xs, a word in Russian, and "12 p.60k."  The inside end paper has the dates 1852-1952 in white shadowed in blue inside a white flourish.  These 1952 Book Covers from a Russian Anniversary Edition of Gogol Stories are in Very Good condition with some yellowing of the end papers and a small rip along the inside edge of the back end paper.  Ideal for use in art.
