This is a 1937 U S Air Mail Envelope sent to J. Webber, Worlds Air Mail Stamp Collector, Sacramento, Calif. (as stamped on back). The front of the envelope has : (1) an embossed plane with 6 cents and "U.S. Postage Via Air Mail in orange, cancelled with "Buy U.S. Savings BONDS Ask Your Postmaster"; (2) preamble to the Constitution and John Hancock's signature stamped in blue; (3) "Via U S Ait Mail" with wings stamped in magenta; (4) two airplanes stamped in pale purple; (5) Mr. Webber's address stamped in black; (6) a sticker with "UTAH" in black; (7) and a cancellation mark from Salt Lake City, Utah on Jun 24 10 AM 1937. The envelope measures 6.75" wide by 3.75" high and has a red, white and blue border. This 1937 U S Airmail Envelope is in Very Good condition with no tears or folds.
