    This is a set of unattached 1936 Book Covers from Elson-Gray Basic Readers Book Three (Curriculum Foundation Series), by William H. Elson and William S. Gray and published by Scott, Foresman & Co, Chicago.  Measuring 7.5" high by 5.125" high, each book cloth cover has illustrations in black, green and orange.  The front cover has a silhouette of a girl rolling a snowball bordered by two vertical rows with silhouettes of two ships, a knight, a dragon, a teepee and a house.  The back cover has two vertical rows with silhouettes of a frog, a fox with a staff, a snowman with a sword, a tree, a sheep, a dog, a bear and an elephant.  The interiors have forest green and pale yellow illustrations of a girl and a boy ice skating,  The girl is partly covered with a a book loan sticker from the 1940's.  These 1936 Book Covers from Elson-Gray Basic Readers Book Three are in Very Good condition.  There is some edge wear particularly on the bottom edge and corners.  Ideal for use in collage or other art projects.
