These are the 1925 Book Covers from The Wonderful Story Book with an illustration of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves by Frances Brundage.  Frances Brundage (1854-1937) was an American illustrator best known for her depictions of children on postcards, valentines, calendars and other ephemera published by Raphael Tuck & Co and Saalfield Publishing (who published the cover here).  She also illustrated classic children's books such as the novels of Louisa May Alcott, Johanna Spyri, and Robert Louis Stevenson and traditional literary collections of The Arabian Nights, King Arthur, and Robin HoodThe Wonderful Story Book is a collection of favorite fairy tales and childhood poems.  The covers are separate with each measuring 9.75" high by 7" wide.  The front cover shows Show White pouring food into the bowls of four of the dwarves who are sitting at a table set up in the forest.  The dwarves are coming back from work, as some are carrying bags on their shoulders.  Other full bags have been placed at the foot of the table.  Snow White's clothing looks threadbare and she wears a wreath of flowers in her hair.  The illustration is inside an oval set against a bright vermilion backdrop which has the title of the book at the top.  The back cover is plain yellow paper.  The inside end papers are plain off-white which have significantly yellowed over time.  Both covers have vestiges of the orange-brown book cloth spine.  These 1925 Book Covers from The Wonderful Story Book are in Good condition.  There is edge wear, exposing the board in places, and minor surface wear.  Ideal for use in an art project.
