This is a 1910 Postcard Of An Angel Playing A Violin Next To A Christmas Tree. Measuring 5.75" high by 3.75" wide, the embossed card shows a young dark-haired female angel playing a violin. She has short white wings and is wearing a long pink gown dotted with gold stars. Below her is a small Christmas tree decorated with candles and a gold beaded swag. This image has been inset into that of a nighttime winter forest in the middle of a snow storm. The tree trunks and branches are highlighted in gold suggesting the light of the moon. A branch reaches over the snowy gold border of the inset. This card is marked "Th. E. L. Serie 112 Made in Germany" on back. It has been sent and has both an address and a green one cent Benjamin Franklin stamp.
