This wild boar (3" long by 1.75" high by 1" wide) was carved out of several pieces of bone that were glued together. He has an expressive face with staring eyes, frowning mouth, flattened ears, and upturned tusks. His back feet are hoofed, while the front ones seem to be wearing shoes. The skin is incised with both deep and fine lines which have been filled in with black ink. The boar is unmarked. Age, maker and country of origin are unknown. In very good condition.
