This is a 19th century Tintype of a Man with Trimmed Vest and Coat. The half length studio portrait shows a young man dressed in a buttoned vest and wide lapelled coat with edge trim. He has distinctly wavy hair parted on the side. His hands rest in his lap, as he stares, unsmiling, behind the photographer. His cheeks have been hand tinted deep pink. The tintype measures 3.5" by 2.5" and has been sepia-toned. This Tintype of a Man with Trimmed Vest and Coat is in very good condition with a clean back, undamaged emulsion and no dents.
