This beautiful elongated triangular-shaped fossilized shark tooth contains shades of olive green, russet brown, orange, and deep brown. It measures 2" long by 1.4375" wide by 0.375" thick. The tooth has a smooth blade and what appears to be a striated deep brown chevron that extends from the root lobe to the rounded tip. It looks similar to some of the Megalodon Shark Teeth online but it is was purchased from a private owner who had no certificate of authenticity. Where this tooth was originally found is unknown. In good condition. There appears to be an old 0.375" chip on one side of the lobe but no repairs or restorations.
