This is a grayish-tan tinted cast resin statue of the monkey god Hanuman, one of the central figures in the Hindu epic Ramayana and the seventh avatar of the god Shiva. He represents devotion and the unlimited power that lies unused within each of us. He is shown here in the classic pose of tearing open his chest in order to show Rama Rama and Sita literally in his heart, a proof of his devotion. His mace scepter leans against him. This statue measures 2.5" high by 1.25" wide by 0.5" deep with a flat, unadorned back. Unmarked. In very good condition with no signs of wear or damage.
