This is a Coalport Miniature Paddington Bear Teacup and Saucer made in England in the 1970's. On one side, the cup shows Paddington bear dressed in his blue raincoat, gray hat and red boots seated before an unopened present. There is an opened present at left and a ball and other toys to his left. On the other, there is a brown sack of unopened gifts with a blue and red papered gift beside it. The saucer has two rows of gray and black bear prints. Made of fine bone china, the teacup measures 0.875" high by 1.875" wide (including the handle) and the saucer measures 2.375" in diameter. Both are marked with a black crown and "Bone China," "Coalport," "Made in England," "Est 1750," "P & C Co. Ltd.," and a copyright symbol with "1978." Original blue box and a history of Coalport pamphlet are included. This Coalport Miniature Paddington Bear Teacup and Saucer are in very good condition with no damage or wear.
