All four of these unsmiling young woman look away from the camera in a three-quarter or profile position. Each woman is dressed in her best clothing with elaborate jewelry and hairstyle typical of the age. All four cards are marked with the names of the photographers: Worden; F.W. Alderige; Androscoggin Photographic Rooms (Lewiston, Me.); and J.B. Davidson (New Britain, Ct.) These 19th Century Cartes de Visite of Women 1 are in good condition with minor spotting and fading.
