This is the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo Souvenir Program for 1957-1958, published by Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, Inc. It contains descriptions and histories of the dances in the repertoire, including Coppelia; La Dame a la Licorne (from a story written by Jean Cocteau); Giselle; Harlequinade; The Mikado; The Nutcracker; Scheherazade; The Snow Maiden; Les Sylphides and two ballets (The Mazurka and Variations Classiques) which were commissioned from two members of the company. This is followed by a Who's Who of the company, including Nina Novak, Alan Howard, Irina Borowska, Gertrude Tyven, and George Zoritch. Black and white photographs show individual dancers, ballet scenes, and shots from the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo ballet school. The 46 page program (with insert) measures 11.75" high by 8.75" wide and features a color photograph of Nina Novak from the back curtsying with red roses at the end of La Dame a la Licorne. The stapled binding is intact and the pages are clean.
