This is a set of 6 Antique Haute Nouveauté Czech Glass Buttons on a Card. Haute Nouveauté (translating to "create something new") buttons were made in Paris at the start of the 20th century. These buttons date from around 1910. The set consists of 6 identically molded buttons with a center flower, five radiating rays and an abstract curved line background. Each button has been produced in Czech glass in a different color palette: black and white; solid black; white, red and gold; green and gold; solid brown; and blue and gold. The buttons are attached to a black and off-white card with one of the Haute Nouveauté logos in a decorative banner. The bottom of the card has a series of three digit numbers whose purpose is unknown. These Antique Haute Nouveauté Czech Glass Buttons on a Card are in very good condition with no damage or wear.
