This is a late 19th century lithographed advertising card for a company selling Japanese novelties. (It is difficult to read the name of the company due to the font. See photograph.) The front shows a young Japanese boy in colorful traditional hat, shirt and pants playing with two Japanese dolls on strings. The background is a rich gold with floral accents. The card measures 4.25" high by 3" wide and was printed on heavy off-white paper stock. Having been pasted in an album, the back still has remnants of the album page. It is not known whether the back has text or is blank. This Antique Advertising Card for Japanese Novelties is in good condition with a small pinhole near the "N" where the card was hung up.
