This item consists of five 19th Century Cartes de Visite of Men. Each Victorian visiting card measures 4.25" high by 2.5" wide and shows a sepia-toned head and shoulder studio portrait of a man. The men clearly differ in age. Two have beards. They are all dressed in suits with a variety of jacket collars and neckties. None are smiling with only one man looking directly at the camera. Three of the photographs have been formatted in ovals, one in an arched rectangle, and one with blurred edges. All were taken on the East Coast in either upstate New York or Dartmouth, NH. Four of these 19th Century Cartes de Visite of Men are in good condition. One has some serious spotting. Ideal for art projects.
