This is a two-piece 1950s Beaded Indian Costume for a young child. The mustard-colored heavy cotton pull-on pants have an elastic waist and the dark brown heavy cotton long-sleeved shirt buttons up the back. The costume is heavily embellished with fringe, rickrack, looped colored ribbons, shell and bead dangles, loomed beaded strips, and a cotton fringed piece with a hand sewn beaded yellow sun. There is no label so the size is unknown. The pants measure 20.5" long, while the shirt is 17" long. This 1950s Beaded Indian Costume is in generally good condition, although some of the shell/bead dangles and shoulder beaded fringe are missing.
